I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and offered a good choice for breakfast, although it can get pretty crowded during busy hours. The fantastic view of the harbor from the rooms with comfy balconies added to the charm. The service was a mix of slow and unfriendly elements, but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff from reception to the restaurant, security, bellboys, and everyone I met made my stay pleasant. The location was amazing, right in the city center and relatively safe, offering a fantastic view of the harbor and a good selection of fresh fruits for breakfast. The dining experience was very nice with fresh fruit, hot and cold food, and eggs made to order; however, it could have a bit more variety. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor drawbacks.
My stay at Harbor View Suites Hotel was truly memorable. The rooms were spacious with a very large and very comfy bed, resembling those of a 4-star hotel in Europe and the US. However, the elevator could get quite crowded during business hours. The service was exceptional, with all modes of transport within reach, making it ideal for a business trip, but there was one receptionist who came off a bit too loud and demanding. The location was convenient, being in the center and close to the ferry to Zanzibar, but a bit far from the nightlife in Dar Es Salaam. The dining experience was excellent, offering beautiful views of the harbor and a varied breakfast buffet. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall pleasant experience.
